The barn is a stable that serves the purpose of breeding sheeps and pigs, and in the case of sheeps, also harvesting wool.
- See also Barn (wooden).
The barn has space for up to 15 animals.
It has one breeding pen and animals that are placed in it, seem to have a higher chance to breed during breeding days. All other mature animals in that stable will still randomly breed during breeding days at a lower chance.
During harvesting days, sheep produce wool. A barn has enough space to hold up to 100 wool.
The barn can be cleaned if the Dung'o'meter reached at least 1.0 dung. If you don't clean the barn for a while, allowing the dung to go over 100%, your animals will start to lose quality and eventually die due to lack of hygiene.
The quality of a barn has no impact on the speed with at which animals level inside it eat, breed, or produce dung. Quality only determines the total hit points of the building.

Feeding[]
Animals inside the barn need food and fresh water to survive. The quality of the food and fresh water has to have at least 90% of the animal quality or the animals will lose quality until the balance is reached again. You can put food like straw, apples, carrots, cabbages or more into the barn, and the animals will eat from it at each breeding tick.
If there is no food left inside the barn, animals will start to lose quality and eventually die from starvation.
Food capacity is 200 stones. A pig consumes 0.5 stone of food and 0.5 stones of water per ingame day; a sheep consumes 0.3 stones food and water per ingame day.
