Placement and Production[ | ]
Bees from beehives collect honey from a 5x5 area around them, from grassy soils, medium and mature crops.
The quality of the collected honey depends on the quality of the ground where it gets collected from. The quality of the beehive itself doesn't affect the quality of produced Honey. Like most harvesting skills, your skill will determine the maximum quality you extract. However - unlike most harvesting skill - the quality of the collected honey depends your actual skill, not the effective skill.
The type of soil determines the production rate, all soils need to be grassy or covered with medium or mature crops and not loose or ploughed in order to produce honey. 1 Honey is equal to 300 grams.
Soil name | Amount of honey per day |
---|---|
Fertile Soil | 20 grams |
Mature crops | 16 grams |
Medium crops | 14 grams |
Soil | 14 grams |
forest soil | 9 grams |
swamp soil | -7 grams |
Your Own[ | ]
The Beehive is used to produce honey. You must have 30 in the Advanced Farming skill in order to extract honey from the hive. Like most harvesting skills, your level will determine the maximum quality you extract.
- Note: Bees from beehives collect honey from almost all types of grown-up fields.
The quality of the beehive itself supposedly doesn't affect the quality of produced honey.

Placement[ | ]
The quality of the honey in the beehive is supposedly determined by the soil quality of the 5x5 tile area around it.
- Select a 5x5block of land to farm, with the center tile not plowed.
- You can unplow the center tile by pouring water on it if needed.
- The Beehive should be placed near the best soil types listed in the table below.
From now on the beehive will accumulate honey every day, and when the amount of honey in the beehive reaches more than 0.3 stones (equivalent weight of one honey unit), honey can be extracted with the Advanced Farming skill ability 'Extract Honey'. When extracting the honey, its quality is limited by the Advanced Farming skill level.
It is possible to put multiple beehives next to each other on top of the high-quality ground, but it will reduce the amount of honey for each beehive.
