The Boar is a wild animal and tamable. Skinned Boar carcasses will provide the player with Game meat, Boar Hides and Bones. Boar Heads, Tusks and Animal Parts also drop if Hunting is at least 90.
Taming a Boar will add 1 Boar or Mangalica Boar to the players inventory, depending on the region the boar is tamed in. The female counterpart is the Sow.
- Note: Boars and all other animals have to stand still to attack what makes it easy to kite them. Boars will lay down if they are at low HP.

Boars only accept wheat and edible taproots in taming attempts.
