Copper ore is a natural material that can be obtained from Mining or Digging a natural copper source block. Each block possesses over 1,000 ore that can then be smelted into a Lump of copper, Copper bar or Copper ingot from Smelting. At launch, there was a total of 1,585,786,189 m3 copper ore blocks in the entire game [1]
The minimum smelting temperature of copper ore is 1,000 degrees. Copper is best used as a training metal for rookie blacksmiths. The low temperature wastes less resources than iron as higher temperatures consume more fuel.
