Usage[ | ]
A Crucible and tongs or its primitive version must be equipped to smelt. To use the furnace first open it with the command Manage smelting building, place a few units of a fuel source inside such as billets or charcoal and light it. Then insert the raw ore you wish to smelt. Use bellows to increase the heat until it reaches 1500 where a status bar showing the state of the raw ore will appear. The raw ore is ready to be melted into ingots, bars, or lumps once the status bar fills. To smelt the ore, use the command Smelt and select the material of your choice.
Note: Using charcoal allows the smelting of more units of ores as it takes up less room in the furnace. Placing more units of fuel in the furnace allows the completion of other unrelated tasks while waiting for the ores to heat without worrying about the furnace burning out.
