Description[]
Health represents how much damage a player has taken, and LiF features two health bars. Hard health represents condition (hHP) and soft health represents consciousness (sHP). When a players hHP hits zero, they die; If a players sHP hits zero, they fall unconscious. Players receive hHP from being struck by a large variety of lethal weapons. SHP damage occurs from damage from sources such as: Blunt weapons, being trampled by a horse and falling.
Injuries can be fatal and nonfatal, ranging from broken bones, bleeding, concussions, etc. Some injuries are permanent unless treated by the healing skill, and fatal injuries can be mitigated with the battle survival skill. Injuries will be a prominent feature in LiF’s no target combat system.
