The Mutton is a wild animal and tamable. Skinned Mutton carcasses will provide the player with Game meat, Sheepskins and Bones. Animal Parts also drop if Hunting is at least 90.
Taming a Mutton will add 1 Ram, Mountain Ram, Sheep or Mountain Sheep to the players inventory, depending on the region the Mutton is tamed in. There is no wild female version.
- Note: Muttons and all other animals have to stand still to attack what makes it easy to kite them. Muttons will lay down if they are at low HP.

Rams only accept peas and cabbages in taming attempts.
