The small stable is a stable that serves the purpose of breeding horses, cows and bulls, and in the case of cows, also harvesting milk.
- See also: Large stable.
The small stable has space for up to 8 animals.
It has one breeding pen and animals that are placed in it, seem to have a higher chance to breed during breeding days. All other mature animals in that stable will still randomly breed during breeding days at a lower chance.
During harvesting days, cows produce milk. A small stable has enough space to hold up to 16 milk.
The small stable can be cleaned if the Dung'o'meter reached at least 1.0 dung. If you don't clean the small stable for a while, allowing the dung to go over 100%, your animals will start to lose quality and eventually die due to lack of hygiene.
The quality of a small stable has no impact on the speed with at which animals level inside it eat, breed, or produce dung. Quality only determines the total hit points of the building.

Feeding[ | ]
Animals inside the stable need food and fresh water to survive. The quality of the food and fresh water has to have at least 90% of the animal quality or the animals will lose quality until the balance is reached again. You can put food like straw, apples, carrots, cabbages or more into the stable, and the animals will eat from it at each breeding tick.
If there is no food left inside the stable, animals will start to lose quality and eventually die from starvation.
Food capacity is 360 stones. A cow consumes 2 stones of food and 2 stones of water per ingame day. A horse consumes 1.5 stones of each per ingame day.
