A softwood billet is often used as a fuel primarily for cooking fires, kiln, furnace or forge and anvil.
To obtain a softwood billet, you must use a Saw on a Softwood log, and have at least a skill level 0 in Carpentry. This will typically yield 2-4 billets per log.
Billets can be stacked and dropped without being lost.
- Softwood billets come from Pine trees, Spruce trees, Apple trees and Mulberry trees
- Softwood billets can be used as fuel source in the Kiln, Campfire and Furnace as well as other interact able objects that require a fuel source.
- Softwood billets burn for less than 5 minutes, degrading with quality and cannot be used for the Use bellows feature.
- Softwood billets cannot be turned into Charcoal in the Kiln unlike Hardwood billets so it is recommended to use them as a fuel source.
